Short Bio:

I am a Post Doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Southern California under the advisement of Dr Viktor Prasanna. My current research focus is on developing deterministic and stochastic optimization algorithms and their approximations for net load balancing in smart grids with high PV penetration. I received my PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California in August 2018.

Research Interests:

Convex and Combinatorial Optimization, Approximation Algorithms, Reinforcement Learning, Smart Grids, Demand Response,Supply Demand Matching Algorithms, Cyber Security in Power Grids.

Other Interests:

When I am not Researching, I read, cook, listen to music, play tennis (or at least try), play flute (again, I try). I was also the director of USC's only Indian Improv Comedy Group - Vidushak. I directed a play in AIS 2018 Diwali Show. You can watch the same here. The group also performs several improv shows. You can watch them at the youtube channel.
