In my spare time, I used to work as a sports journalist for a popular Croatian basketball website, Kosarka.hr (formerly Crobasket.com). Also, Draftexpress.com contains some of my ancient scouting of Croatian basketball players.
When I have enough time, I still write articles about NCAA and NBA for the Croatian Basketball Federation's Hrvatska Kosarka magazine.
Whenever I have a chance to escape overseas, I go home to my beautiful country, Croatia. The pictures from the Google image search are pretty, but you definitely have to visit to experience the whole atmosphere. :)
My hometown Split has been around for the past 1700 hundred years (Croatian Wikipedia article). Interestingly, Split is Los Angeles' sister city. Besides the many notable inhabitants, football club Hajduk is one of Split's main symbols.
