| I strongly believe that the
classroom should be set up as a learning community. Discipline needs
to be enforced, and children need to know that when they arrive at
school, they are expected to work while they are there to the best
of their abilities. I am a strong believer in positive
reinforcement, and do not think a child should ever be told that
they are flat out wrong. I think that there needs to be a strong
emphasis placed on group work starting from an early age because as
children get older, they are going to need to know how to
collaborate with other students, and be able to create one final,
polished project.
