About the Club

As parent club president(s) for our chapter, we represent Kappa Sigma on the IFPC - Inter Fraternal Parents Council - at USC. This group, along with the ISPC (sorority group), sponsors four major events through out the year. All are targeted to the interests of USC parents. Every fraternity at USC, except one, has a representative on this support group. The programs planned through IFPC for 2006-2007 are provided through this web site.

We pay dues to the IFPC yearly - about $400 - and we contribute to the scholarship fund that is offered through IFPC for all greek men. Because we are members of IFPC, Kappa Sigma members can apply for these scholarships.

If there is any money left at the end of the year, we ask the members to tell us what they need for the house so that we can make a purchase for them.

Upcoming Events

We plan three events per year for our sons. There is a BBQ at the house tied into parent weekend. A formal invitation is on the web site in case you haven't received one in the mail. We hold a brunch at Christmas to help the guys decorate their tree. Information will come in the mail to you as the time gets nearer. Lastly in May, a formal graduation luncheon is held in honor of the seniors. Watch for web site updates.
