Asked to design a Boathouse for the USC crew team, this design acted as a spatial mediator between land and sea, fusing the two elements with the ritual of rowing. Second semester's final project was a film institute in Downtown Los Angeles. This design explored the dichotomy between how a film is created and how it is viewed. The first being a back and forth, circuitous process while the ladder is traditionally a sequential process, enabled by the film strip. This metaphor is carried out through the circulation and spatial layout of the design.
