Coursework

I was born and raised in Southern California, the oldest of three children.  Doing well in school has been important to me for as long as I can remember, and eventually led to my early acceptance into the University of Southern California.  I am currently a sophomore majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in the Teaching Profession.  If all goes according to plan, I will graduate with my teaching credential and go on to teach high school biology.  When I entered USC, I intended to go on to medical school and become a doctor, but midway through my freshman year, I realized that I had no real interest in being a doctor, and that what I really wanted to do is become a teacher (for the full story, see my philosophy section).

My interests include, but are not limited to: All things nerdy and technological, Star Wars, Star Trek, The Lord of the Rings, video games (go Nintendo!), anything involving the previously mentioned items somehow combined with my friends, spending time with my beautiful girlfriend Krista, spending time with my family, reading, learning, and most importantly, becoming more like Christ.
