     Hello to all!  My name is Jessica Barnett!  I was born in Dallas, Texas which is where my mom, dad, and my younger brother, Nathan currently live.  I moved to Los Angeles this past August to begin as a freshman at USC and am loving every minute of it.  I have always loved children and my family always knew I would become a teacher.  I started performing in musical theatre at age 8, and since then theatre has been my life.  Two years ago I found a way to combine my passion for theatre with my love for children.  I became a counselor for a day camp in Dallas where I assistant directed the camp play.  Last year I continued working at Camp Chai, this time as the Theatre Specialist and director.  I plan to continue working there this summer and direct You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown in July.  I am currently a Theatre B.A. Major with a minor in education here at USC. 

       Outside of theatre I love shopping, movies, baseball and football and spending time with my friends.  While I miss my friends and family back home a great deal, I have made some incredible new friends here at USC.  I have been fortunate to have amazing roommates this year, who have made this transition a lot smoother.  Thanks for reading a little about me, enjoy my site!
