Google Earth Map
To use the Google Earth map, first download and install the free program at the Google Earth website. To view the historic survey, download (by right clicking on the link and choosing "save link as") the .kmz file below. The .kmz file will open in Google Earth. The survey map should show two things: small blue placemarks that can be clicked on to reveal information about each building, and red rectangles that indicate the footprint of the buildings. Computers must have a 64 MB graphics card in order to view the building footprints. The best way to find a particular building is to use the Search function of Google Earth to find the building's address. This function can also be used to look for proximate historic buildings. The list of placemark addresses in the Google Earth sidebar will allow the user browse through building location by street name.
