Jimmy Dao is a M.S. student in the GIST Program at the University of Southern California.
Currently, he is working full-time for the City of Brea. He is the lead GIS Analyst for the last six years,
managing the GIS mainframe, create web mapping applications, maintain the 911 map database and provide professional services to client cities.
In addition, he is also the liaison for Brea to collaborate with local, state and federal agencies, relating to GIS assessment needs.
His career began with an entry-level GIS position digitizing boundary maps, assisting in all aspects of editing land-based data and quality control of satellite imagery
and orthophotography. Jimmy has completed two classes toward his degree and expects to be graduated in 2015.
Jimmy is interested in the design/implementation of geocoding services and developing web-mapping applications for community outreach.
