About Me

I am a Ph.D candidate in Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at University of Southern California. My adivisor is Professor Elaine Chew and my co-advisor is Professor Alexandre R.J. Francois . My research interests center on human computer interaction and operations research, and more specifically, human-centered interface design for musical expression synthesis. I am working in the MuCoaCo Lab, and I am working on the Expression Synthesis Project(ESP).

I got my Bachelor Degree in Automation, and Master Degree in Control Theory and Engineering in 2000 and 2003 respectively, from the Department of Automation , at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. My advisor is Professor Li cao .
