Academia

University of Southern California - My new school, which, even now, is transforming me into a Master of Electrcial Engineering.

University of Washington - During my five years as a Husky, I earned my B.S. in Electrical Engineering, learned how to be a good student and a good teacher, fell in love for the first time, and made some of my closest friends. I miss you already.

Early Entrance Program/Transition School - "What's this?" you ask. Check it out . . .

Juanita High School - Ah, the high school I never attended, but which was kind enough to let me play basketball for them.

Kamiakin Junior High - Why not just trace back my entire academic lineage? Go Cougars!

Ben Franklin Elementary -This is where I did sixth grade. Here, I built a Rube Goldberg Machine, learned all kinds of mathematical art techniques, was first introduced to physics, and enjoyed a long bus ride across town twice a day with some now old compadres of mine.

Mark Twain Elementary - This is going way back now. I don't think the Web was even 'World Wide' during these years :)

John Muir Elementary - Okay, this isn't funny anymore. I hardly remember kindergarten.

Evergreen Academy - Originally called Montessori House, preschool makes up some of my earliest memories. In fact, I can't remember life before preschool. Wierd.

Amigos

The Reverend Brian Green - In my circle of friends back home, The Rev was renowned as 'Keeper of the Archives.' Not only is he always taking photographs, but he is also an incredible artist! I was always amazed at his uncanny ability to capture a the unique features of a person's face--be it in a portrait or caricature. He has recently gone off ot study law at the University of Virginia.

Brenna Kelley-Clarke - Smart, beautiful, wise, cultured, mature, kind, fun . . . Brenna ranks somewhere on the top of Jake's Most Admired People List. She now attends Harvard, pursuing a graduate career in virology. She also has a degree in Italian, and is quite the seamstress. The only bad part is she's an entire continent away. Fortunate is one who is her friend.

More on the way soon . . .
