to the exciting world of digital forensics.

| Course Description:
|
| This
class covers techniques for tracking attackers across the Internet
and gaining forensic information from computer systems. It includes
case studies of Internet-based crimes, forensic successes and failures,
and limits of forensic techniques today. It also includes a practical
final project called “Forensics challenge”. The course
emphasizes both the conceptual models and the hands-on experience
of using tools with the Internet and the Web browsers as the underlying
media. |
