This page contains numerous emotiongram examples. Firstly, we begin with Chopin's Prelude in Db Major for piano (P3.wav). The image below shows the output of our software when the stress values are held at 0, thus giving the energy calculations. Notice that if the stress = 0, the output will be restrictied to the leftmost colors on the map, from green to yellow.

Similarly, energy values can be held at zero, and the output will reveal the nature of the stress signal. This time, the output is restricted to the colors which appear at the bottom of the color map, from green to blue.

This next plot demonstrates the complete output of the Emotiongram software. A low-resolution amplitude vs. time representation of the audio appears at the top. The second plot is the "ground truth" emotional coloring obtained from hand annotation by Meghen Miles. The third image is the complete emotiongram of this file. Notice that the program is able to achieve very similar coloring to the annotation in this example.

Numerous emotiongrams and corresponding annotations can be found below. Enjoy!
