About Us

Instant Groove (IG) is a student-run organization of people who just want to dance together and have fun. Because we're non-competitive, our vibe is completely different from many other organizations you'll see on campus. Our styles are rooted in hip-hop, although they range from old-school, to salsa dancing, to whatever else you can think of. We open up choreography to anyone who is willing and interested, so our group takes on the direction of all the involved members. We hold tryouts at the beginning of every semester so be sure to keep checking on recent IG news!
