processing, multimedia compression and communication
See my research page for more information. Biography Huisheng Wang was born in Taiyuan, China in
1975. She received the B.Eng. degree from Xi'an
Jiaotong University, China in 1995 and the M.Eng. degree from Nanyang
Technological University, Singapore in 1998, both in electrical engineering.
She is currently a Ph.D. candidate of Signal and
Image Processing Institute (SIPI) and Integrated
Media Systems Center (IMSC) at the University
of Southern California, Los Angeles. Her
doctoral dissertation, directed by Prof. Antonio
Ortega, aims at developing novel techniques to provide network-aware
multimedia compression and communications. From 1997 to 2000, she worked in Creative Technology Ltd., Singapore as a R&D software engineer. She was also a research intern at La Jolla lab, ST Microelectronics, San Diego, CA, and at HP Labs, Palo Alto, CA. Her research interests include signal processing, multimedia compression, networking and communications. © Huisheng Wang |
