This is the travel card itself that consumers can carry in their wallet or purse. The card is the same size as any ordinary credit card. It's solid plastic construction will withstand the test of time. Consumers will pay a one time fee of five dollars to activate the card. The card is rechargred via the internet where consumers can add credits to their travel card. There will be three differnt themed cards, winter, summer and fall with appropiate pictures for those consumers that care about the card's appearence.

 

This is the card scanner. It will be attached to bus, train and metro turnstyles as well as parking meters and taxi cabs. The units are very inexpensive to manufacture and only cost about sixty-cents per unit. The scanners read the magnetic stripped on the plastic travel cards.
