Message From the Alumnae Chair
To the inspiring Helenes Alumnae,

My name is Gwendolyn Holst, and I am so honored to be your 2014 liaison to the undergraduate organization that gives us all lifelong memories and opportunities. As your Alumnae Relations Chair, I am excited to schedule events to get to know each of you and keep you in touch with each other as well as our active membership. I would love to hear from you about your favorite memories of past events or creative ideas for new ones. With my love for food, the outdoors, and being active, I aim to continue some of our past popular activities, such as meals, hikes, and Zumba. I hope to coordinate a large-scale brunch this spring to unite alumnae of all classes as a complement our other big opportunity to rendezvous, Homecoming, in the fall. Make sure to get your calendars out when I send out updates, because I hope to see you at our fun events this year! Our sisterhood truly benefits from the continued wisdom of our knowledgeable alumnae, and I hope to enrich this year with generational bonds through mentorship and shared time together. If you’ve got a question, comment, or concern, please feel free to drop me a message, even if it is just to say you are in town and looking for some Helenes Love.
With my dedication and my verve, it is the Helenes Alumnae I here to serve. So here we go with the year twenty-fourteen; no matter your age, it’s a great time to be a Helene!

Helenes Love,
Gwendolyn Holst
