Hilmi Enes Egilmez was born in Sivas, Turkey. After graduating from Sivas Fen Lisesi (Sivas Science High School), he received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Koc University, Istanbul, Turkey, in June 2010 and July 2012 respectively. During his M.Sc. study, his research area was Adaptive Video Streaming over Software-Defined Networks, and his thesis advisor was Prof. A. Murat Tekalp.
He is currently a PhD. student at University of Southern California under supervision of Prof. Antonio Ortega.
