    • Urban Monitoring and Predicting System by sensing with mobile nodes (2008 Fall)
      - Built urban map using GPS's location provider, Google maps API, and connected sensor through Bluetooth
      - Reinforcement learning for the predicting system based on Markov decision process using shared environmental states and each user’s actions
      - Client: implemented in J2ME based on Symbian OS, Server: Data analyzing and estimating using JSP/Servlet
    • Simultaneous Self Localization and Dynamic Mapping Robot for Exploring Unknown Place (2008 Summer)
      - Advanced localization and mapping method by analyzing probabilistic movement density using an accelerometer (Monte Carlo base)
      - improved the accuracy and the processing time of SLAM by perceiving a robot’s movement interval between sensing and moving
      - Built cooperative mechanism between programmable bricks and SunSPOT in leJos (tiny Java virtual machine) with iCommand package
