GPAC MPA Committee - Friday Night Bonfire

Please feel free to bring a beach chair, blanket, snacks, and friends. Roasting goodies will be provided (smores, hot dogs) but drinks are limited. We ask that you help by bringing your own beverages.

GPAC International Committee - Melange 
October 30, (Friday) 12:00pm - 2:00pm
A mixer for international students and those who want to meet others from different cultures over food. This International Food Festival, the first of its kind, brings a chance to taste exotic cuisines and needs your support. Bring an international dish of your liking and get ready for some "serious" food sampling! Also, learn more about the GPAC International Committee and how to become a delegate.

GPAC Non-Profit Committee - Midnight Mission Service Event

October 9, (Friday) 2:30pm - 6:00pm
Get to know a local non-profit and join GPAC as we spend an afternoon serving our community.
Since 1914, the Midnight Mission has provided a myriad of services to the people of Skid Row and the greater Los Angeles area. Their objective is to work with homeless individuals and families to help remove obstacles to self-sufficiency, while ensuring that immediate needs like food, shelter, and clothing are met. The Midnight Mission operates a drug and alcohol recovery program that includes counseling, education, job training and placement as well as provide safe transitional housing to homeless families. On Friday, October 9th, we'll partner with the Midnight Mission for a tour of their facilities at 2:30pm, followed by some hands-on work in their kitchen. We'll be prepping, cooking, and serving dinner to about 700 homeless people from 3:30-6:00pm.

Then join the GPAC panel discussion on professional associations in the Los Angeles area.
Representatives from The American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), the Municipal Management Association of Southern California (MMASC), Women in Transportation (WTS), Women Leading Government (WLG), and Millennium Momentum Foundation will describe what their organization can offer to you and how you can become involved.

GPAC Dodgers Game - RSVP Required

GPAC has a reserved section at Dodger Stadium for USC Night! The game is at 7:10pm. Tickets are ($11). Seats are in Left Field and include a FREE DODGER DOG!

GPAC Beach Day 
September 6, (Sunday) 11:30am - 3:00pm
Beach Day at the Hermosa Beach Pier. After a crazy and exciting day of tailgating, join us for a fun and relaxing day at the Hermosa Beach Pier. Hang out and chill at the beach (play volleyball, swim, whatever your heart desires). We'll be meeting in front of Hennesey's on Pier Ave at 11:30 AM and try to stake claim and setup on the sand just north of the pier. After a sunny day at the beach, can we interest you in grabbing a drink at one of the bars on Pier Ave.? Please plan on bringing a sack lunch with you.
GPAC Tailgate!!! USC vs San Jose State 
September 5, (Saturday) 9:30am - 12:30pm
Tailgate vs San Jose State. Game starts at 12:30. This will be our first tailgate of many to come! Join us for food , fun, and games and see what being a Trojan is all about! No Trojan experience is complete without a tailgate. Come see what you're missing! If you happen to have a ticket to the game too we'll be all walking over together. Fight On!
Any donations you have to offer (chips, snacks, your favorite beverage) are welcomed and appreciated!

Happy Hour at the Lab. Come join us at The Lab immediately following the Back to School BBQ (even if you have a class before or afterwards), we'll be there! Amber, Sharmineh, Abby, and others members of the Social Committee will be staying the whole time to welcome everyone so be sure to look for them.
The Lab is located directly across from Parking Structure X on Figueroa. Walk with us from the BBQ or meet us there! You're bound to make some new friends! Join us at our first GPAC event!
