Non-Profit Committee

The Nonprofit Committee is dedicated to enhancing educational experiences and networking opportunities for students interested in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector. We strive to expand student awareness of the critical role nonprofit organizations play in strengthening communities and governance.

We accomplish these goals through two primary initiatives:

• The Nonprofit Speaker Series: Created by and for students in the spring of 2004, these forums, conducted throughout the semester, are an opportunity for students to learn from, and interact with, practitioners in the field. The sessions are also invaluable environments to network with fellow students who share an interest in nonprofit organizations.
• The Students' Online Nonprofit Resource Center: Hosted through this page, you will find information about websites and events designed to support you in learning more about and working effectively in the sector, as well as professional development opportunities and job-search resources.
