Bio
I obtained a BS in Electrical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) from the
University of Florida
in May, 2007.
My inspiration to work with robotics came from my work in the
Machine Intelligence Lab.
The main project I worked on was an autonomous refrigerator robot named
Koolio.
During my time at UF, I also designed my own personal robot, and worked on an automation system
that printed on memo cubes. This project won the
2006 ASME Manufacturing Design Competition. Finally, I completed two internships at General Electric.
I entered the PhD program at USC in August, 2007. I am currently being funded by
USC's Provost Fellowship. I have been working on various robotics research projects involving controls, machine learning, and estimation. I have decided to leave the PhD program with a MS degree. I will be graduating in May 2009.
