Furqan Muhammad Khan

 

 

I am a PhD student at Computer Vision Lab, University of Southern California and am being advised by Dr Ram Nevatia. I completed my Masters, also from University of Southern California, in 2009. My research interests comprise of activity recognition and video anlaysis, object detection and tracking.

I was born in Karachi, the financial hub of Pakistan, and completed my Bachelors in Computer & Information Systems Engineering from NED University in Karachi. After graduation from college, I worked at Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission of Pakistan as a researcher before coming to the United States as a Fulbright student.
