I am currently a PhD graduate student at the University of Southern California in the Keck School of Medicine. In 2002 I started my PhD in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the gene expression laboratory of Dr. Deborah L. Johnson.

I received my Bachelors of Science in Chemistry/Biochemistry from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN in 1998. I started my education at Purdue in 1994 in the Department of Biomedical Engineering in the School of Engineering. I later followed my passion for Biochemistry and transferred into the School of Science, Department of Chemistry. While a student at Purdue I participated in the undergraduate research program, in the Department of Biological Sciences working with Dr. Arnold Stein
