I am currently Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Risk Architect in Bank of the West, BNP Paribas. I am developing reduced-order network model (Hidden Markov Model) for credit risk.
I was a Research Associate in Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering, University of Southern California. Before that, I was a visiting Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematics, Georgia Tech. I served as the Chief Operating Officer in a start-up project Green Emissions Design.
I received Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, both in USC. Before coming to the United States, I received B.A. in Economics, and B.S. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, both in Beijing (Peking) University, China.
My research interests include Mathematical Modeling, Fluid Mechanics, Dynamics, Stability and Control and Locomotion.
