Hello everybody! Just so you all know, this site is always under construction, so parts of it are still not complete (namely, the Gallery, Olympians, and Books By/About USC Fencers), but don't worry! We already *have* designated pages up, just no content yet. Other pages fixed in this update: Events! The Events page for the 2009-2010 school year has been updated with all tournament dates and times. Speaking of tournaments, remember: this Tuesday, October 13, is the First Annual USC Fencing Newbie Tournament! All people who have never attended a tournament may compete. Please show up to practice on time so we can get started right away. See you then!

Welcome fencers old and new to another year of USC Fencing! If you're a new student and are interested in joining our club, stop by our table at the USC Involvement Fair on Wednesday, August 26th and come meet us in person. If you can't make it then, our first practice will be Tuesday, September 1st at 9:00 PM (the second Tuesday of classes). Hi everybody, hope you had an awesome winter break! Now it's a new semester, and you know what that means... the return of USC Fencing! (Also the return of soul-crushing classes, but that's slightly outside of our focus.) Right now, Jason tells me that the exact starting date is a little unclear right now, but expect practice to start either Thursday, January 22nd or Monday, January 26th.
We highly encourage anyone who's interested in fencing to come to practice. New people, you've never fenced before? We'll teach you exciting things like the rules, how to hold a weapon, what exactly "right of way" is, and why hitting someone over the head with your guard is frowned upon. Club members, have friends who say, "Hey, you're lame because we never see you Monday or Thursday nights"? Bring them to fencing and show them how what you're doing is so much fun all while stabbing them in the process. It's a win-win situation for everyone. Also of note, info for the 2009 Linkmeyer Invitational is now available. It's an annual USFA sanctioned event, and a lot of fun. Visit the link above for more information, as well as results and photos from past Linkmeyers.

Club Practice info on the front page has been fixed yet again, so it has the correct information for now. Also altered some of the stuff on the Officers Page, so there you go. Events Calendar page is now up, complete with information on the tournament schedule for the rest of the year, as well as out of conference events. Next on the website agenda: completing the History and Club Gallery pages, as well as a page for the USC Linkmeyer Invitational. As far as important reminders for club members:
- If you want to compete at any of the tournaments, just talk to one of the senior members of the club. This goes double if you want to learn and compete in epee or sabre.
- Also on the topic of tournaments, if you have a car and are willing to drive others to the competition, PLEASE tell us!
- Dues! We like having money to buy equipment and such. Remember, for one term it is $45, but if you want to pay for the entire year, it's available for the low, low price of $80! Cash and checks are accepted; make checks out to "USC Fencing." Please give all money to Patrick ASAP.
- Not exactly fencing-related, but even more important: ELECTION DAY TOMORROW! Just get out there and vote!

Hey all, not too much going on in this update, just a couple of edits to the Club Practice Info on the front page. To be updated soon: Events Calendar, Club Gallery, and several of the History pages. But first, a new section featuring details about this year's Linkmeyer Tournament will go up. All this, next time on the USC Fencing website. See you at practice!

Hey, everyone! In honor of the first fencing practice of the year tonight, it's a big update tonight! First off, on the home page, additional practice info has been added, as well as the latest newspost at the bottom of the page. Next, a major portion of the History part of the website has been updated, so if you have ever wanted to find out more about the history of the USC Fencing Club and its Coaches, click on the links to the left. Speaking of links, the Links page has been updated with assorted fencing-related links. Finally, the Contact Us! page has been updated to include FAQs as well. If you have any other questions about the club, as always, please email us at fencing@usc.edu. To be completed in a future update: Events Calender; History-The Olympians; History- Books by or About USC Fencers; and the granddaddy of them all, the Club Gallery. Looking forward to seeing you all at practice tonight!

The new, revamped USC Fencing Club site is *finally* up and running. Well, at least parts of it. Everything except News, Home, Club Officers, and Contact Us is still under development, but never fear! Those will be up as soon as possible. As for the actual news, please note the changed practice times for this term, as well as our location in the PED South Gym. Also, if you haven't done so already, please join the USC Fencing 08-09 Facebook group so we can easily send you club-related information for this coming year. Other notable Facebook groups you should join are the Fencing Club (which is mostly alumni and general information) and Dr.Frank is the Hottest Coach at USC (which is just 100% true). The actual links to these groups should be up on the Contact Us page. More info to come soon...
