Research Interests

I am a third year Ph.D. student at USC, working with Professor Fei Sha. My research focus is on the theory and applications of Machine Learning. I've recently been collaborating with a group from the Neuroscience Department on a project to analyze functional-MRI data.

    I studied mathematics in Hungary for a semester through BSM , a program founded by Paul Erdős, László , and Vera T. Sós to allow American undergraduates to study mathematics from leading Hungarian scholars.

  • I wrote my senior thesis on the Expectation Maximization (EM) Algorithm.
  • I have been a counselor at New Jersey's Governor's School for Engineering and Technology for two years. The program brings together gifted high school students from across NJ for a month to explore subjects in engineering, computer science and mathematics.
