Hello! I am a doctoral candidate in communication at the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication, under the advisement of Dr. Peter Vorderer.

I received B.A.'s in Political Science and Classical Civilization from the University of California, Los Angeles.

This Spring, I am teaching COMM 321: Communication in the Virtual Group.

Research interests: physically interactive (exer)games, video game playing and competence motivation, media entertainment and happiness, and why females do/don't play video games (we all have our suspicions).

Apparently I'm getting a Ph.D. in Mortal Kombat. It also looks as though I am a writer, as well.

Read what Will Wright has to say about the effects of playing video games.

It's great.

Finally, one of my latest hobbies involves humans disguised as robots (work in progress).
