Welcome
My name is Daniel Leo. I live in Pittsburgh, PA. This is my second semester in the USC online graduate GIST program. I have a bachelors degree in Environmental Resource Management and have spent time working for the National Park Service as well as a recreational non-profit here in Pittsburgh. I have a always had a strong environmental pull in regards to my studies and career endeavors, but one thing this online program has done for me already, was to really open my eyes to the expanded possibilities of a GIS career. I have a strong interest in obtaining a career working with local environmental non-profits focusing on community redevelopment. My experience with GIS is still in the beginner phase, I don't have much web experience and I feel this course will provide great building blocks for a strong future.
