Born and raised in San Diego, California to Mexican immigrants, Danya takes pride in her Latin heritage. She hopes to someday be a bilingual reporter/host or TV producer.

She graduated from USC with a degree in broadcast journalism and cinema television. At USC,  she was actively involved in news reporting and production at Annenberg TV News and Annenberg Radio News.

 She also produced and hosted for Trojan Vision. Her work experience includes ABC’s “Good Morning America”, CBS Broadcasting Inc., NBC Universal, Univision, and published several articles in both English and Spanish. She hopes to continue working in media journalism.

Danya is known for her energetic, outgoing personality and ability to work well with others. Her greatest joys are traveling, the beach, dancing, spending quality time with family and friends, movies, yoga, and cute coffee shops.
