our system also provides a search application that can
let patients
make searches of all the common illnesses and diseases in
accordance to the
symptoms that the patients put for their search criteria.
For example, a
patient might put in the search criteria symptoms of “cough”,
“phlegm”,
“sore throat”, “trouble swallowing”, and “painful throat”.
This would
lead to all sorts of results that would revolve around strep
throat viruses
and bacteria. The patient would then be able to learn more
about it and make
his/her choices accordingly. |
