We
plan to develop a brand new system which is named“Family
Remote Control System”to implement our goal. Since all home
electronics will have their own MAC address, we could control
all of these stuffs via network by using an appropriate control
system. First, we can use PC, laptop, PDA, or cell phone
to connect to our home by networks. Second, since all electronic
equipments connected to the LAN are controlled by the system,
we can control these stuffs what they shall do right away
or after a couple of hours. Therefore, we can straightforwardly
control television, video recorder, air conditioner, water
heater, and anything else even we are not at home. The operations
of these electronic equipments include start, pause, stop,
making a schedule, and other additional settings for several
specific equipments. This kind of system not only saves the
time of those people who are usually busy and not at home,
but maximizes the applications the network for every household.
