Our
Project aims at preparing the User interface for a Smart
Cart which will be used at malls/shopping centers. The Smart
Cart aims at improving customer experience at a shopping
mall by providing features which will help reduce customer
service time and improve customer satisfaction. The Cart
will be designed to provide the following functionalities:-

Identify
the Customer using Identification card.
- Provide automatic billing system for the items placed in
cart using radio frequency (similar to the magnetic chips
used these days) instead of scanning them individually.
- Provide payment options itself by charging the membership/credit
card instead of a register employee.
The
User Interface we aim to design will help to provide these
functionalities by:

Providing interface for customer to identify
himself.
- Providing daily/weekly/monthly offers available in the
store.
- Providing interface to locate the items listed on shopping
list of the customer.
- Providing easy shopping by remembering customer preferences/shopping
habits.
- Providing prices of the items placed in cart/option to
check price of items on isle.
- Providing checkout options by giving the bill/providing
payment options.
