Anyone who retrieved their class project on Dec. 10th from a box in front
of the classroom, please bring it to the final exam. Those projects had
NOT been checked by Professor Jacobs. Those were projects left for
Professor Jacobs to check this past weekend. More than a few of you have
those projects in your possession. Please bring it with you Dec 17th to
the final exam and hand it to the Professor, so that they can be
graded accordingly.

This announcement is to clarify some frequently asked questions on
assignment 9.
-
For assignment #9, you do NOT need to conduct a survey like the previous
assignment. A survey (e.g. QUIS survey) is just a
tool for your team to use, to frame your
study, analysis and questions for the system you will evaluate.
-
Once you are done evaluating your system, you can have a 3rd person or
neutral user go over your results with you.
11/21/2002
-
Final Exam is in SGM 124, 7-9pm PST, Tuesday Dec. 17, 2002, for Campus and

submitted by ALL teams on Dec 03, 2002 regardless of which day they are

Professor Jacobs honored student requests to post an old exam for the first
time. He wishes you to know that he gave that class different study
instructions, used a different course textbook, and did not cover the subject
matter in the order he uses now. Therefore, he recommends you do NOT complete
the exam for practice. However, this old exam will illustrate a sample of his
test writing style.
