1. Send your email address to Nitya Doraisamy, the grader, at: duraisam@usc.edu

2. Midterm is scheduled for 10/12/99 for LA-based students. Those students will need to make arrangements to be on campus for the midterm at 6:30pm Tuesday 10/12/99. Meet at Olin Hall of Engineering, Studio D.

3. Homework assignment is changed for the homework due 10/5/99. DO NOT do the home work listed in the class project schedule (I am not there yet with my lectures, so, I will postpone that homework (using User Action Notation and evaluation criteria for your projects)).

There is no homework due 10/19/99. We will discuss on 10/19/99 what is expected for the screen prototypes due 10/26/99.

Assignment due on 11/09/99: Independent Reading.

12 Nov. 1999

1. Assignment due on 11/16/99:Try the UAN methodology discussed in class (in the notes) on one screen in your project.

2. Video Demonstrations are posted at class materials.

3. Team projects is update.

17 Nov. 1999

Assignment due on 11/23/99: Evaluation of project products.

(1) Determine if your system met (or will meet) the requirements you developed on Week 4.

(2) Based on relevant evaluation criteria, select a method to evaluate your project and conduct that evaluation,

Perform a usability study of your project.

2 Dec. 1999

Project and presentation due on 12/7/99.

Final Exam. at 7:00 - 9:00 pm 12/14/99 in SGM124.

10 Dec. 1999

Professor Jacobs will be available in a Leavey Library study room 3J from 10am to noon on Sat. 12/11/99 for infomal office hours.
