Fall 1999 Robot Contest

On Dec. 16th, sixteen teams from the CS 445 class competed for the coveted title of "best puck gathering robot." These machine are made of LEGO Technic pieces, sensors and microprocessors.

Behind the Battle Field:
Working in the lab hours after hours.

MISC:
KTLA 5 came by and took some
pictures, and the news was on TV
of the same night.
Maja Mataric and her faithful lab
assistant Shauna Madrigal enjoy a brief
moment of rest during the hectic contest.
Prof. Mataric was happy to sign
certificates of various achievements.
