Catalog Description: This course will provide a general background into what computers are and how they function. It will discuss of the impact of computer technology on society, as well as the economic, political and social issues raised by computers. |
Objective: The goal of this course is to give students an overview of computer technology with an emphasis on its effect in society. While learning the basics of how a computer works, the students will investigate the many ways computers are affecting people's lives. |
