On November 27, 2007, the highly anticipated the Beach Bungalow will open its doors and hammocks to the international, backpacking community! After a planning and building, the hostel is ready to serve a dynamic group of guests and provide the ultimate hostel getaway.

Located in the heart of Santa Monica and steps away from the sand, the Beach Bungalow is a unique and perfect hostel oasis. Upon check-in, guests are treated to a complimentary tropical beverage while the friendly staff prepares their room. After settling in, guests are invited to relax in one of the many social areas. Whether you are looking for a hammock to watch the sunset over the water or an indoor lounge complete with a movie-screen and love sacks, the Beach Bungalow has it all!

A variety of room types are offered to fit every traveler's need. The popular dorm style rooms sleep 6-8 people, where guests can fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves. For those who desire a little more privacy, two to four person rooms come complete with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. Free internet access is available to all guests in the hi-tech media center.

All guests are invited to use the Activities and Tours desk. The friendly and local staff can tell you all about the day's activities ranging from surfing lessons to beach yoga. Twice a week, the staff leads a night pub-crawl, featuring drink discounts and guaranteeing great memories. For those who come to see the city, the Beach Bungalow is only a few minutes walk from the 3 rd Street

Promenade and a bus ride away from all popular Los Angeles destinations. Guests can also easily book a variety of tours like a hike to the Hollywood sign or a tour of celebrity houses!

The most exciting feature of the Beach Bungalow is its highly anticipated Rooftop Bar. Sitting atop the four-story hostel, guests have breath-taking views of the beach and the city. With nightly drink specials and themed music, guests are provided with the perfect setting to mingle with other
