Meet the Beach Bungalow Management

David Morin - Director of Internal Affairs and Hostel Manager

David currently studies at the University of Southern California, where he is majoring in Business Administration and Cinema Television. Originally from Littleton, Colorado, his love for the sun and year-round good weather brought him out west. At USC, David served as two-year president of the USC Tennis Club, the largest rec sports organization of campus. The job taught him how to organize and provide a fun atmosphere for large groups.

As a sophomore, David served as Account Manager of USC's National Student Advertising Competition Team. Using his core knowledge of advertising and marketing, he helped create a new campaign and led his team to a 3 rd place finish at regional competition. Throughout his college career, he has demonstrated his work ethic and drive by holding an internship every semester since freshmen year. The jobs have given him a feel for the working world and taught him how to solve real life problems.

He says that the most influential part of his life occurred in the Spring of 2007, when he spent a semester studying abroad in Melbourne, Australia. There, he rediscovered his passions of travel and meeting new people. Along the way, he visited a variety of different hostels in different cities, giving him extensive knowledge of the industry. His travel experiences and goal of making the world smile will have a positive contribution to the Beach Bungalow.

In his free time, David likes to play tennis, watch movies, relax at the beach, and read. He is excited for the opening of the Beach Bungalow and hopes that its unique theme and quality service will evolve it into a Los Angeles landmark.
