I believe that every child is blessed with capabilities of learning through the acquisition of new knowledge brought to them by a teacher.  Often times this capability for learning is taken for granted or overlooked as a universal norm that all children possess.  However, I believe that the ability to learn is a gift that needs to be appreciated and nourished for it to develop.  I truly believe that there is no other career for me that could possibly be as rewarding as teaching.  Everyday that a teacher spends educating a child, the teacher is making an impact on that child’s life.  Knowledge in itself and the miraculous ability to acquire knowledge is precious to me, and I feel blessed that as a teacher, I will have the opportunity to help children develop their gift of learning.
