I am a graduate student in the M.A.T. program at the University of Southern California.  I graduated in June 2005 from California State University Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development.  After graduating from USC I plan on becoming an elementary school teacher in the Los Angeles area.  I also plan on continuing my education at USC in pursuit of a PhD or EdD so that I may eventually become a professor.

My family is very important to me.  I am very blessed to have come from such a loving home.  My parents have been married for 34 years.  I have one older brother who is also married with one daughter.  My family has taught me to believe in myself and they continue to be one of my greatest sources of strength and support, along with my boyfriend, as I continue with my education.

Aside from being a graduate student, I also am a make-up artist.  I graduated from Joe Blasco make-up academy in 1998 and have worked for the studios as well as in the department stores.  I find it ironic that now the MAC in my life is a computer rather than a make-up up brand.  I find that doing make-up applications is very soothing and relaxing.  When I am not doing school work, your might also find me at the gym. I find exercising is a wonderful way to keep fit while also relieving stress.
