  • New members need to submit a completely filled waiver form, and atleast the $5 trial fee before they can climb. If you are sure about joining the club, you can pay the complete $30 dues for the semester.
  • Forms are available at the meetings and also on the day of the climb. You need your insurance information to fill out this form, so be sure to bring it.
  • Those who have cars, also need to fill out the Car Insurance Form.
This being Southern California, conditions at the different climbing locations vary greatly. Look up what more to bring depending on where we are climbing

Echo Cliffs

Access to the climbing area is via a 45 minute Hike along flat terrain .Bring extra water and food. It is always more comfortable in hiking shoes or sneakers

Horse Flats (Angeles National Forest)

If you are driving make sure you have a Forest Adventure pass

Joshua Tree (National Monument/Biosphere Reserve/National Park)

Trips to Joshua tree are generally weekend-logn trips. The club provides food and water on the trip. Bring gas money for your drivers - its a very long drive, sleeping bags, change of clothes, and some deodarant, hiking shoes, and lots of sun block (you'll be under the desert sun all day). The club has a 4-5 person tent. If you have your own tent, feel free to bring it along.

Malibu Creek (Malibu)

This is by far the easiest spot to go climbing. It takes 15-25 minutes to walk to the wall. Shoes are recommended if you intend to climb at the Stumbling Blocks, Ghetto Wall, or by the Lake. Flip-flops are fine if you are going to the Apes wall.

Point Dume (Malibu)

Climbing on the beach is great fun. Bring swim trunks, beach towel, beach toys ( if you wish), sun block, surf/boogy board Make sure to bring warm layers, it gets cold at the beach too.

Stoney Point (Chatsworth)

Stoney Point is once again an easy place to go climb. Parking is right by the rocks, and the walk in is fairly easy, flip-flops and sandals are OK.

Williamson (Angeles National Forest)

Williamson rock is accessed by a 45-minute hike downhill. Make sure to bring extra water, food and comfortable hiking shoes. Also bring additional warm clothing.
