The purpose and objectives of CHE are:

- To promote pre-health student interests leading to the improvements of healthcare to underserved communities

- Create a support for pre-health students in such areas such as retention, academic success, career opportunities, and politics of medicine

- Facilitate educational programs for the recruitment of high school students interested in pre-health programs

- Support the efforts of other organizations committed to the improvement of healthcare for under-served communities

- To explore and promote academic and career issues related to the medical field and to help those interested in the field to get to know one another better outside the classroom and laboratory
