Rel 394/599: Near Eastern & Mediterranean Archaeology: Discovery, Interpretation and Impact

Goals of the directed study: This course is directly based on the undergraduate course REL 394, in which computers are meshed with traditional archaeology to create virtual reconstructions of various buildings at El-Amarna, Egypt. My directed study goes beyond what is expected of the undergraduates in the quality, length, scholarship and accuracy of my modeling and accompanying explanations and research. The specific building I have chosen to pursue is the Great Aten Temple complex.
