Cytochrome c structure.
The protein contains several regions of alpha helix and has a single bound cofactor heme, which is shown with a van der Waals dot surface around each individual atom. Also shown explicitly are MET 99 and HIS 19, the axial ligands to the central iron atom (yellow) in the heme.
