Free Time Activities

I spend most of my free time with my fiancee, Daphney. We love watching movies, playing tennis and swimming. We also love going out, explore new places and having fun with or without company. Whenever we don't do something together, we tend to tease our lovely cat Mushroom.

Whenever I feel creative, I enjoy developing smart applications just for the fun of the learning experience. In one of my expeditions I created a web based application, called SpringerTabs. SpringerTabs is a novel way of browsing Springer data. It provides a small set of predefined choices to easily create new tabs as well as enables enhanced query options with the advanced tab addition menu. SpringerTabs automatically populates each tab with content that asynchronously receives from the Springer Website. SpringerTabs is extremely lightweight (developed in JQuery) and provides a "Social Networking" flavor to the experience of browsing through scientific articles, books and journals. SpringerTabs received the Springer API Challenge 1.0 - Honorable Mention.
