The University of Southern California has a very proud athletic heritage. The goal of the USC Competition Cheer team is to uphold these values and traditions while representing the University at regional and national cheerleading competitions. USC Cheer has brought numerous championship titles back home to Southern California.
The USC Competition Cheer program was founded in 2003 as a team within USC Club Sports. The team is coed and is composed of undergraduate and graduate USC students. Keeping both club activities and schoolwork as top priorities, USC cheerleaders are some of the most involved students on campus. Members practice, compete, and perform routines with elite cheerleading skills in stunting, tumbling, jumping, and dancing. Fall semester for the team is mainly dedicated to on campus events and performances, while spring semester is focused on traveling and competing. In addition, USC Cheer members make media appearances, attend promotional events, and volunteer within the community throughout the year.
Keeping the USC Trojan traits in mind, USC cheerleaders are faithful, scholarly, skillful, courageous, and ambitious. We are Trojans. Fight On, Fight Strong!
