General Info
The
USC Competition Cheer program was founded less than five years ago as a club
team within the USC Recreational Club Council.
The program is composed of an All-Female team of 20-25 women. Unlike other spirit
groups on campus, the goal of the USC Competition Cheer program is to represent
USC at regional and national competitive collegiate cheerleading competitions.
The team performs elite cheerleading skills such as stunting, tumbling and
dancing at competitions and at on-campus functions.
The USC Competition Cheer Coed Team is not forming
this season; but check back next year for more information.
Practice Facility
The All-Female team practices Wednesdays 8:00pm-10:00pm and Sundays 5:30pm-7:30pm at an Olympic quality training facility in Culver City called the Los Angeles School of Gymnastics. The facility is composed of three full size spring floors, dance room, foam pit, tumble track, and more.
