Welcome to my website! My name is Caitlin FitzGerald and I am a student at the University of Southern California studying Education and Psychology. I was born and raised in Granger, a town in Northern Indiana. I attended a private, Catholic school for kindergarten through fourth grade, and public schools from then on. I’m part of a large mixed family- It’s crazy, but so much fun, and I love my sister, step-brother, two step-sisters, and our fantastic assortment of pets. I love dancing, reading, stargazing, going to SC football games, and visiting the Midwest. My biggest addictions are working out, chai lattes, and exploring all of LA's amazing restaurants. I tend to be adventurous- as seen by my decision to attend USC thousands of miles away from my boyfriend, family, and all of my friends. Combined with my patience, sense of humor, love of children, and desire to have a positive impact on the lives of others, I’ve decided that teaching an elementary school classroom is my dream job. It’s what will make me excited to wake up and go to work in the morning, and probably actually dread that last day of school. After I receive my Bachelor of Science in General Studies and multiple subject teaching credential, I hope to teach in an elementary classroom in Southern California.
