Biography
I am from Thousand Oaks, California and I am 23 years old. I became interested in GIS after taking an undergraduate Natural Hazards course at USC. I have always wanted to work for the fire department so I began to learn how fire departments and first responders utilize GIS. I am currently working with the Los Angeles County Fire Department to collect data for my thesis, which involves neighborhood mitigation for wildfires. I am planning on using this degree to work for a fire department GIS team.
